TRIVIR & ANTIVIRAL PREVENTION: New in vivo study conducted

in PhytoInforma

On October 4, 2022, the Journal of Immunology Research published the new scientific study conducted in vivo featuring the Trivir oral spray, produced by Phytoitalia to support the physiological functioning of the Immune System against viral and bacterial infections.

The study, coordinated by Dr. Beniamino Palmieri and Dr. Maria Vadalà, involved 30 patients affected by a nonspecific viral infection of the upper respiratory tract.

Half of the group was treated with a commercial spray, the remaining 15 people with the Trivir spray. After five days, a scientifically significant reduction in symptoms was observed in favor of the group that used the Phytoitalia spray.

Comparing the control group with the one treated with Trivir, scientific evidence emerged regarding the benefits of the natural extracts of Phyllanthus Niruri L. and Andrographis Paniculata contained in the oral spray produced by Phytoitalia concerning the prevention and reduction of the most common symptoms caused by viral infections of the upper respiratory tract, evaluated in terms of intensity and frequency.

The results obtained are also attributable to the mechanism of action of Trivir, which differentiates it from the most common oral sprays available on the market, whose role is generally limited to washing the mucous membranes or solely bacteriostatic action. The presence of Carboxymethylcellulose in the Trivir formulation allows, in fact, adhesion and consequent persistence of the sprayed liquid at the oral cavity level, promoting a prolonged antiviral action at the mucous membranes and receptors of the upper airways. This mechanism generates a true defense barrier against external aggressions and enhances the benefits of the Phytoitalia spray, determining its scientifically demonstrated commercial superiority.
