All plants undergo a series of checks to verify their botanical identity and physical-chemical and bacteriological analyses.
Suppliers must adhere to strict procedures to always ensure the highest quality and safety of the raw materials used.
Checks are carried out at every stage of processing: it is therefore possible to guarantee complete traceability of each batch.
Safety is at the highest level.
PhytoItalia also guarantees:
1. to carry out all phases of packaging, storage, and distribution at facilities operating in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 155/97 and Regulation EC 852/04 and subsequent amendments.
2. to perform food hygiene self-monitoring with the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system
3. to apply Regulation EC 178/2002 which establishes the general principles and requirements of food law, establishes the European Food Safety Authority, and sets procedures in the field of food safety
4. to apply Legislative Decree 169/2004 implementing Directive 2002/46/EC on food supplements
5. PhytoItalia is ISO 13485 certified to guarantee quality and safety to our customers.
PhytoItalia also puts maximum effort into the choice of containers for its products, the so-called MOCA (Materials and Objects in Contact with Food), selecting qualified suppliers who certify compliance with the following Italian and Community regulations:
